Executives from Technical University of Denmark’s Executive School of Business joined the Sutardja Center for four days at the end of October to study Innovation Leadership in Silicon Valley, as part of their focus on Innovation within their Executive MBA studies.
The executives were able to hear professors and lecturers from UC Berkeley speak on a wide range of topics from opportunity recognition, new business models, sustainability and CSR to the unique Silicon Valley perspective on product development and venture capital investment.
Some additional highlights of the week were hearing Jessica Mah, co-founder of InDinero and on Forbes’ cover for September 2015, address the Sutardja Center Distinguished Innovator Lecture Series class, as well as hearing from Bjoern Hartmann, CTO at Jacobs, and Shomit Ghose, Partner at ONSET Ventures, at Berkeley’s new Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation building, which opened in August 2015. All enjoyed the inspiring week that highlighted for our partners at DTU Executive School of Business, the uniqueness of Berkeley and the broader Silicon Valley. We are already looking forward to welcoming them back next fall!
