Developing Entrepreneurs and Innovators
SCET teaches using the Berkeley Method and offers a suite of highly applied, experiential project-based courses that develop the entrepreneurship and innovation potential for students, professionals, and academics.
The Center offers a Certificate In Entrepreneurship and Technology to university students.
Our professional programs allow working professionals to similarly continue to grow their skills.
Incubating and Developing Labs and Programs
Our Innovation X lab allows students and professionals to explore the latest innovation strategies for a variety of industries. Results from our labs create knowledge and inform the Sutardja Center's undergraduate, graduate, professional, and executive courses and programs.
Innovation Thought Leadership
The Center develops thought leadership, particularly in the innovation/entrepreneurship process and frameworks which include the A. Richard Newton Lecture Series: A Berkeley Changemaker™ Course, Berkeley Method, Innovation Collider, Innovation Engineering, and more.
What is the Innovation Collider?
The SCET creates an innovation environment by facilitating "collisions" of people and groups that can make unique contributions by bringing diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. Our Innovation Collider brings together students, faculty, investors, alumni, professionals, executives, firms, and global institutions to connect through our programs, courses, and X-Labs. Through these collisions, SCET can create new ventures, corporate innovations, social impact and help entrepreneurs discover what's next.
