Join the European Innovation Academy for an intensive, fast-paced learning experience, where you will learn from more than 100 venture capitalists, serial entrepreneurs, executives from Silicon Valley companies, and experts while building your own startup with like-minded students from around the world. Graduates of the program automatically earn the UC Berkeley Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology.
The European Innovation Academy (EIA) is the largest entrepreneurship course focused on technological innovations.
The accelerated online program turns an idea into a startup in just 15 days! Berkeley alumni of the program have gone on to create companies worth tens of millions of dollars that are addressing large societal needs, such as Foresight Mental Health, The Farmer’s Dog, Higher Rewards, and others.
The goal of this course is to give students a hands-on, real-life experience creating a startup with students from around the world. In 2021, there will be more than 400 students participating in 80 different countries. The course challenges participants to innovate, overcome obstacles, and grow rapidly; with the goal of creating a business valued at 100M EUR or more.
The most modern tools and technology (e.g. AI) will be used to make sure that the experience is engaging and interactive for students. Theory courses are filmed and presented like a Netflix mini-series, with each episode teaching a new theoretical concept in an engaging way. Mentoring takes place live, giving students an opportunity to interact with their mentors daily.
The course is led by the top tech speakers, mentors, and investors from around the world who leverage the skills, mindset, and knowledge, necessary to coach and inspire participants to achieve set goals.
