This past Saturday, the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology at the University of California, Berkeley hosted their first tailgate open house at California Memorial Stadium. Cal alumni, Berkeley faculty, and some of Berkeley’s best students came together to cheer on the Golden Bears. In attendance were Pantas and Ting Sutardja, benefactors of SCET and accomplished entrepreneurs and engineers, as well as Tsu-Jae King Liu, the new dean of UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering. Check out the photos below to see the fun!
Besides cheering for Cal, the purpose of the event was also to help faculty, students, and partners connect around SCET’s sports tech program, which is helping athletes and teams gain competitive advantage through technological innovation.
