Selected teams will be announced on October 31, 2022.

Pitch Day:

The Pitch Day will take place on November 9, 2022. (Location to be announced).

Participation in the SCET-Silicon Alliance Pitch Contest is free and open to all teams.

Applicants are required to have a team at the moment they submit their application.

Preference will be given to teams that have a working prototype, a business plan, and a go to market strategy.

All teams are encouraged to apply. A mockup or prototype is preferred but not required.

If you have a functioning prototype you should be prepared to include a brief demo during your 3 minute pitch.

Teams will be scored on the following criteria:

• Opportunity (is this a problem worth solving?)
• Customer & Market (do you understand the customer and is the market attractive?)
• Technology & Innovation (what makes this innovative and different from alternatives in the market?)
• Business Model and GTM Strategy (how will you make money?)
• Presentation and Q&A (is your pitch compelling and well organized? how does the team handle questions?)

Customer(s), market size/segmentation, and competitive landscape should be clearly articulated. Business models and revenue models should yield realistic financial projections.  Teams should use an appendix to include any supporting data.
