Our Students
The Sutardja Center international students come from all over the world to experience UC Berkeley's entrepreneurial culture. At SCET, we believe in empowering innovators to positively change the world, and our students are at the front of this transformative effort by driving the creative forces behind UC Berkeley's unique ecosystem.
Students in the Startup Semester and the Le Bridge Fellows program have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a rich innovation environment, develop their own startup ideas, and connect with industry experts and mentors.
Startup Semester Program
Students: Shivansh Wadhwa, Sandra Nettey, Natthaphum Rattanaphiphop
Shivansh Wadhwa
Shivansh Wadhwa is a Startup Semester student from Ashoka University with a degree in Economics and a minor in Entrepreneurship.
Passionate about supporting early-stage startups, Shivansh enjoys finding creative solutions to complex business problems, and thrives helping companies find their product market fit.
Outside of work, Shivansh enjoys visiting museums and galleries to experience different forms of art. He is also an avid fan of stand-up comedy, frequently attending performances to keep up to date with emerging comedians.
Sandra Nettey
Sandra Nettey is a third year Computer Science student of Ashesi University in Ghana and a Startup Semester student at UC Berkeley.
Sandra is an explorer and her curiosity drives her to try new activities. She has a variety of interests such the English Premier League, music, politics, leadership, technology, and entrepreneurship.
One of Sandra's main interests is to use technology to solve problems, and this lead her to win the virtual Hacklab Hackathon in 2021. With the emergence of Artificial Intelligence, she hopes to create innovative solutions for Ghana and for Africa.
Natthaphum Rattanaphiphop
Natthaphum Rattanaphiphop is a B.A.Sc. student from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, and a Startup Semester student at UC Berkeley.
Passionate about innovative business opportunities, Natthaphum is always looking for new challenges and technologies to address ongoing social problems in his home country and in the world.
During his studies in Thailand, he has worked with various organizations in the food and beverage sector, aswell as in the e-commerce, and start-up industries. He is looking forward to applying his skills in a future professional setting.

Gabriel Requin
Gabriel Requin is a Business and Entrepreneurship Master student from Neoma Business School in France, and a Le Bridge Startup Fellow at UC Berkeley.
Passionate about innovation, sports business and design, Gabriel has experience in several startup roles and is currently working on his own startup project.
Hamza Tlemcani
Hamza Tlemcani is a is a Business and Entrepreneurship Master student from Neoma Business School in France, and a Le Bridge Startup Fellow at UC Berkeley.
Hamza has studied in four different countries -Morocco, India, France, and the US- and he is always looking for new challenges to discover himself and to grow.
A marathon runner and food lover, Hamza is a business developer and marketing fanatic that joined the Le Bridge Program to get coached by mentors and access brilliant minds in the Silicon Valley ecosystem.
Romain Baud
Romain Baud is a Master in Management, Entrepreneurship & AI Tech from EM Lyon Business School in France, and a Le Bridge Fellow student at UC Berkeley.
Having worked at Google and within different startups has given Romain a set of skills and expertise in technology and digital marketing.
Romain is currently looking to expand his knowledge on sustainability, and to work with startups and companies on reducing the impact human beings have on nature and animal habitats.
Startup Management Program
Students: Damien Yvert, Louis Vanoverschelde, Maxence Padua
Damien Yvert
Damien Yvert is a Management student at SKEMA Business School in France, currently pursuing a dual Master in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at UC Berkeley.
Passionate about solving social problems, Damien wants to create companies from scratch to pursue his goal of making a positive impact in society.
He is currently working on a mental health support platform that aims at helping people to anonymously discuss their personal issues with peers, to get relatable advice.
Louis Vanoverschelde
Louis Vanoverschelde is a student of SKEMA Business School in France and is currently pursuing a degree in startup management at UC Berkeley.
After living in Brazil and Spain, he came to Berkeley to develop his startup project. Passionate about serving people, he wants to use his creativity to make life easier.
Louis is currently working on Pee-wees, a monthly subscription solution for electric mopeds. This project gives users the freedom to access a reliable moped without the need for ownership.
Maxence Padua
Maxence Padua is a SKEMA Business School student and a Startup Management and Tech Entrepreneurship student at UC Berkeley.
An entrepreneur since a young age, Maxence is passionate about finding more sustainable ways of living and having an impact through entrepreneurship and tech.
Currently leading a pre-seed round of financing, Maxence is working on an all in one solution to help homeowners retrofit their houses, find craftmen, finance their needs, and have energy efficient homes.

Joan Buch Prades
Joan Buch is a Startup Semester student from Polytechnic University of Valencia with a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Startup Administration.
An entrepreneur by heart, Joan has founded 3 startups, raised 2 investment rounds from VCs, and participated in 3 accelerators and 1 incubator.
Joan is currently working on Decorative, an AI-powered software that allows customers, agencies, and UX/UI experts to predict consumers’ behavior on websites and ads.
Naiyapak Bondee
Naiyapak Boondee (Eve) is a student at School of Integrated Innovation at Chulalongkorn University and a Startup Semester student at UC Berkeley.
With an interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology, Naiyapak aims to leverage technology tools to implement her business in the future.
Naiyapak is currently working on Lyftlab, a machine learning and IoT project that helps shrimp farmers optimize their profitability by predicting next-step solutions.
Styve Lekane
Lekane Styve is a student from Ashesi University in Ghana majoring in Computer Science and part of the Startup Semester program at UC Berkeley.
With a passion for technology, Styve is deeply intrigued by the transformative potential of technological innovations in the finance and healthcare sectors.
Styve is currently working on a healthcare startup that aims to create a centralized repository of medical records for people living in Southeast Asia and Africa.

Chaïmaâ Benallal
Chaïmaâ Benallal is a Business student from NEOMA Business School majoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and a Le Bridge Fellow student at UC Berkeley.
Passionate about projects with a positive impact, Chaïmaâ has been working with a wide range of firms to design a more responsible future, using innovation methodologies & disruptive technologies.
At UC Berkeley, Chaïmaâ has gained experience in circular economy and energy consumption topics. She is currently working on a project focused on making green and renewable energy accessible worldwide.
Côme Pinczon du Sel
Côme Pinczon du Sel is a Master of Business from Neoma Business School in France and a Le Bridge Fellow student at UC Berkeley.
Passionate about problem-solving and working collaboratively with diverse teams, Côme was inspired to create his company after being scammed when buying my first used car.
He is the CEO & Co-founder of Alloccasions, an AI Inspection service for the automotive industry, that streamlines the vehicle inspection process and providing comprehensive reports with real-time damage detection and cost estimates.
Jean Eudes Nallatamby
Jean Eudes Nallatamby is a Master of Business student from EmLyon Business School in France, and a Le Bridge Fellow student at UC Berkeley.
Jean is interested in coding, Jean has taken part on the École 42 training program, which consisted of 200 hours of code to learn the basics of low-level programming, particularly C/C++.
Recently, Jean participated in Le Wagon Web Development Bootcamp in Paris and is currently working on a project that links lawyers and clients allowing them to ask questions about law-related topics in 15-minute affordable sessions.
Startup Management Program
Students: Joe Khater, Katell Guillou, Malik Allaoui
Joe Khater
Joe Khater is a Master's in Management student from SKEMA Business School in France, and currently finishing a Diploma in Entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley.
Passionate about the sports business and all the values that are shared through sports, Joe is building his career aiming to have a big impact on the future of the sports industry in organizations such as the Olympics or the French Tennis Federation.
As a young entrepreneur, Joe currently owns two restaurants in the city of Nice: Téta Marie, a Lebanese cuisine restaurant, and Le Spot, a burger place.
Katell Guillou
Katell Guillou is a Skema Business School student currently completing the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Startup Management program at Berkeley.
With a strong interest in sustainability - GreenTech, FinTech, and DeepTech- Katell believes that we all have a role to play in achieving a sustainable and durable future. Last semester, Katell won the ‘Most Innovative’ Award at SCET's Collider Cup.
Always looking for new challenges, Katell has studied in six different countries - France, China, Mexico, Peru, South Africa, and the United States.
Malik Allaoui
Malik Allaoui is a Msc Digital Marketing student at SKEMA Business School and a Startup Management and Tech Entrepreneurship student at UC Berkeley.
Malik is passionate about marketing and exploring the endless possibilities of the world of mobile apps. He is currently working on GOALS, a social self-improvement mobile app that helps people achieve their goals and build habits.
His app allows users to connect with friends, family, or other users for support and guidance as they strive to become the best versions of themselves.
