Student Speaker: Veronica Cheung

VeronicaCheung Headshot

Veronica Cheung is a graduating senior at UC Berkeley, earning her B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) alongside a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology from the Sutardja Center. Over the past three semesters, she’s taken four SCET courses and contributed to three startup projects—bringing her passion for iOS engineering, technical rigor, and fast-paced startup sprints into every team. She served as COO for two ventures: Dianysos, a digital AI wine sommelier, and ContechU, a revolutionary talent hiring portal. In both, she combined her love for technology with the thrill of building from scratch—crafting product roadmaps, leading execution, and learning the entrepreneurship game firsthand. After graduation, Veronica will be joining Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Development Engineer. Practicing entrepreneurship at this small-but-mighty scale has helped her find her anchor in the brave new world of tech.
