On June 13, 2019, fifty students came together at the Berkeley Faculty Club to celebrate the culmination of their hard work for the past five months.  Each of these students received a certificate from Professor Ikhlaq Sidhu, Chief Scientist and Founding Director of the Pantas and Ting Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology.

During the event the students listened to an engaging fireside chat with Adam Cheyer, Co-Founder of Siri, Inc., and presently Co-Founder of Viv Labs. Adam shared learnings on leadership and innovation from his professional experience, and inspired the students with his vision of future AI technologies.

Kevin Leung (Lam Research);  Teri Liu (Applied Materials); Iris Wang (Verizon Media); Butch Berney (Lam Research) and Prof. Ikhlaq Sidhu

During the course, students had the opportunity to hear from industry leaders including Marc Tarpenning, Co-Founder of Tesla, and Patty McCord, former Chief Talent Officer at Netflix. In addition, real-life case studies enabled the students to work in diverse teams to solve complex business problems, while professional development training ensured they gained the critical skills needed to move their careers forward.

Congratulations, graduates on your accomplishments, and we look forward to your future successes!
