SCET Partner VŠE Prague Celebrates MBA Graduation with Ken Singer
“Exactly 632,940 minutes have passed since I welcomed you with the words, ‘You are at the start.’ Now it is time to say, ‘You are at the finish line.'”
Academic director Ota Novotný’s fittingly data-driven speech honored a new batch of graduates from the MBA program in Data & Analytics for Business Management at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE). The ceremony, led by Data and Business VŠE co-founder Martin Potančok, was attended by the university’s strong network of faculty, academic, and corporate partners, including UC Berkeley.
SCET’s Managing Director Ken Singer gave a speech celebrating the graduates’ determination. The event is an emblem of UC Berkeley’s academic collaboration with VŠE, which has been a global partner since 2019. SCET helped develop the Data and Business MBA program, which was Central Europe’s first data-focused MBA.
Together, the universities’ shared aim of exchanging “pedagogy, faculty, and students” will continue to grow as VŠE prepares to launch a new MBA program in September 2026. The MBA in IT Management & Business Transformation brings together insights from top academics, IT trailblazers, and industry pros, giving innovators skills that they can apply in the real world.
