TBH is a popular social app created by Nikita Bier that lets users anonymously compliment their peers. The app was number one on the Apple app store for several months and was acquired by Facebook in 2017. Read more
Terramino Foods provides an alternative to seafood with products made from fungi, a complete protein, packed with amino acids, and untainted by the toxins, ecological damage, and harmful bycatch associated with wild-caught fish or the pollution and antibiotics involved in aquaculture.
SkyDeck is UC Berkeley’s official startup accelerator, created by and for UC Berkeley, so it was an obvious choice for us to support SkyDeck and their fund. Their stunning penthouse location in downtown Berkeley combined with their access to the massive resources of the university make them the number-one choice for startups in Berkeley.
The Coleman Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership was launched in January 2010 and is headquartered at UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering. Its mission is to transform engineers and scientists into leaders who can take risks and develop technical, social, and economic innovations.
The House is a startup institute built for Berkeley, and home to Berkeley’s founders.
