Major: Electronic and computer engineering

“What drew me to the startup semester program is that it did not matter what major I was pursuing. Back in Hong Kong, what major you do is very indicative of what you’re going to do in the future. Over there I never got a chance to explore the business world.”

Major: Economics, entrepreneurship

“At [UC Berkeley] and in the entrepreneurship system, everyone is supportive of one another and it has been very valuable overall… I’ve learned what it takes to make a company over here [in the U.S.]”

“People at [the Startup Semester] are super supportive. You learn a lot of things, and you have a lot of exposure and opportunities. Why can’t I be here for four years? Why only six months? Everything is excellent.”
