Dear Prospective Candidate,

Thank you for your recent interest in our Engineering Leadership Professional Program.  Each year our partner firms sponsor the full tuition of numerous candidates for this program. UC Berkeley also encourages direct applicant enrollment by candidates from non-partner firms to ensure a diverse cohort for each semester-long session. Please read below for more information on how to apply through either our direct, non-partner firm candidates’ process or through our partner firm process.

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR DIRECT (NON-PARTNER FIRM) CANDIDATES

Each semester we encourage numerous direct applicants, who make-up approximately 20% of each cohort.  Each session’s cohort is limited to 45 candidates and acceptance is competitive. We are moving to a single offering of this course each calendar year, and our next session will begin January 17th and conclude approximately June 14th.  Note that this program will now be offered only once each year, for the spring semester.

To apply for the next session, Spring 2018:

  1. Please submit your resume via this link.
  2. Have a manager from your current company or a prior one, submit a letter of recommendation via this link.

The deadline for applying is November 1, 2017. Final decisions on acceptance will be sent via email by December 15th.  Anyone applying after November 1st, will be considered for our waitlist. Following acceptance by our academic department, candidates will complete the remaining necessary forms and payment with our College of Engineering Executive Education group.
